The emergence of pumpkin spice lattes and college football games announce the arrival of fall! Main Street Wauchula, Inc. welcomes the change of seasons with the annual fall festival at the October 19th Friday Night Live. The Hardee County Ministerial Association is partnering with Peace River Electric Cooperative to provide booths that will stretch across Main Street as well as cake walks and prizes!
The Fall Festival is sure to be family fun and will include numerous events that will entertain all ages. Families and businesses can bring a home created scarecrow to display at Heritage Park for just $10. A pumpkin patch, games, inflatables and a costume contest will keep the children busy!
Peace River Electric Cooperative will be selling hotdogs for one dollar to benefit a charity in Hardee County. Food options also include the Main Street restaurants, which will stay open late for Friday Night Live participants. Downtown retail stores will also remain open for parents who are looking to spend some time planning for the approaching holiday season.
Do not miss out on this community fall festival on Friday, October 19th! The Hardee County Ministerial Association is planning to provide a safe, Christian alternative to Halloween by having game booths operated by volunteers from as many Christian ministries and local organizations as possible. The cake auction and cupcake walk will help to raise money for the Hardee Help Center, and provide lots of music, candy and something fun for the whole family.
