The DeSoto County Fair is celebrating its 60th Year in operation as one of the leading traditional county fairs in Florida and will open on Thursday, January 17th 2013. Enjoy this family event throughout the 11 days of fun and excitement. This family fun fair will feature Hildebrand Rides who is providing more rides and attractions than ever before in honor of the Fair’s 60th Anniversary celebration.
Amazing amusements will include the Giant Gondola Wheel with spectacular LED light show, the Ring Of Fire, a Five Story Roller Coaster, Drop Tower, Gravitron, Orbitor, an incredible Zip Line and an expansive Kiddie Land and of course, a multitude of Games of Skill and Foods from Around The World. The DeSoto County Fair will be held at the Arcadia Fairgrounds located at 100 Heard Street in Arcadia, Florida and will run from Thursday January 17th through Sunday, January 27th. There will be a variety of daily Midway Specials starting with a Sneak-A-Peak Night on Thursday the 17th with $15.00 Armbands enabling guests to ride all of the rides from 5:00 PM until closing!
Midnight Madness will be happen on both Fridays with $20 Armbands good for rides from 5:00 PM until 1:00 AM! Other DeSoto County Fair Specials include a Family Fun Day featuring one Free Admission with each Armband Purchase, Student Day with Free Gate and even a Buddy Night with Buy One Get One $20 All Rides Armband. Introducing the DeSoto County Fair’s Final Fling when a paid $10 Gate Admission lets you ride the rides for FREE!
