We pause to send our hearts and prayers out to the victims and families involved in the Aurora movie theater shooting in Colorado. Precious lives lost and so many lives forever changed. Questions go unanswered as to why this happened. Little new information is shared as authorities continue their investigation.
Below are reactions from Country Music Artists.
Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney were set to bring their Brothers of the Sun tour to Denver (about 20 miles from Aurora) on Saturday, July 21st. The day after the tragic movie theater massacre. They decided the show must go on, and Tim McGraw sang a special song to remember those who lost their lives in the shooting. The singer then launched into a Christian song, “More Power to Ya.”
